As described on the page, Calls as Verbs, the calls in the Zuora API can be thought of as functioning much like verbs do in human language: They are the actions that you perform.
Just as the calls are the verbs in the Zuora API—that is, they are the things that are taking action—the objects in the Zuora API are those things upon with the calls take action.
